Wireless Communication

The number of mobile devices is increasing every year.  Wireless data networks that use the 802.11 standard is ideal for ensure their high-speed access to information.

Using Wi-Fi networks is recommended in crowded places, in places where deployment of cable network is impossible or economically impractical. The wireless network can be used in logistic centers, hotels, airports, providing a 100% radio coverage.

The principle of Wi-Fi networks working is as follows: a wireless point transmits its unique identifier (SSID) broadcast the special signaling packets every 100 ms. Knowing SSID of the network, clients can connect to the network and get access to local resources or the Internet.

In September 2009, was adopted a new standard - 802.11n. This standard is the newest version of 802.11 networks for Wi-Fi 802.11n standard supports data rates up to 300 Mbps, which is three times greater than the speed of data transmission standard 802.3 Fast Ethernet - the most common type of clients connecting to the LAN.

There are several standards of encryption and authentication that ensure the security and confidentiality of information transfer. The most optimal way wireless security standard is 802.11i. The new standard provides the mandatory use of more powerful encryption algorithm AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) and authentication 802.1X.

Using of the 802.11n standard allows create wireless networks with jointless roaming, view broadcast videos and use VoIP technolog.
